Situated in a fine Georgian house, Augustine’s
restaurant is so named as it stands in viewing distance of the
beautiful 8th century monastery that was originally
founded by St Augustine. This tiny two room restaurant seats
just 30 diners and specialises in fine modern food with
particularly good fish dishes.

Like every self-respecting traditional
tearoom should be, the Moat Tea Room are set in a traditional
16th century black timbered house, with floral
table clothes and the menu scribbled on blackboards dotted
around the walls. The menu ranges from lunchtime classics such
as sandwiches and jacket potatoes with various fillings and a
whole host of cakes making it the perfect place to relax and
enjoy that wonderful English tradition of afternoon tea.
